Teenagehood is a time of intense emotions (pleasant and unpleasant). You as a teenager are in a lot of ways naturally mindful in the way you approach life with openness and great curiosity. Teenagers tend to have a certain zest for being alive and an ability to live in the now and be 100% present, whereas adults tend to get stuck in “autopilot” and worrying a great deal about what could happen or get stuck in what has happened. You most likely also question the status quo, think “out-of-the-box” and experience the ordinary as being extraordinary. All of it something that most adults envy greatly and which you do not want to lose out on.
