We offer weekly Mindfulness Practice sessions for you to either try out mindfulness or supporting you in keeping up your practice. We meet once a week to purposely allow your body and mind to go from being controlled by the stress-induced sympathetic nervous system to the calm and healing parasympathetic nervous system. It is a great way to get some relief from a stressful life. We practice various mindfulness exercises such as body scans, mindful movements and meditations (either sitting and laying down). However, it is not just about relaxing the body and mind, mindfulness is also creating more awareness and training your ability to gain and sustain focus. Come and try it out!
Practice runs every Monday evenings at 19:00 until 20:00 at our Epicurus studio in Wassenaar. The class teacher is Berit. Please arrive approx. 5 mins early and wear comfortable, layered clothing.
Be aware, that the sessions will be cancelled if there is only 3 or less booked in for the session. In such case, you will get be notified via email the day before. Your fees for cancelled sessions will be refunded at the end of the season (end of May and end of December). Our system will add you as an attendee to the class only once your payment or booking has gone through. You will be asked to set up an account the first time you book, after which you can then log into your account to see your classes.
